Actor Ted Danson was elected to replace the space left in the season Fishburne 12

Surprisingly, actor Ted Danson was elected to replace the space left in the season Fishburne 12. CBS station itself has confirmed this news on Tuesday (12/07/2011).

Danson will play a new supervisor who took over Fishburne. While Fishburne otherwise retreat from the CSI since last month, after starring in the series is over one and a half seasons. The reason is nothing but want to pursue success on the big screen.

"It comes at a time when the CSI team has just been shaken by the case of serial killer Nate Haskell, in the last season (season 11)," said a spokeswoman from the CBS station. As expected, the creative team of CSI, welcomed the arrival of Danson. "You can just create a new character. But on condition, must wait for the perfect actor capable of giving new life to this series. And therefore, we welcome the arrival of Ted Danson in this series," says executive producer Carol Mendelsohn.

"Since we first discussed the new role for the series, it is clear that that role would be perfect if it played by him. He had a smart character, kind, warm and deep character and emotion in it. He was able to bring all of that character. And now, he is ready to wear latex gloves to portray his character, "adds executive producer, Don McGill.

During his career, Danson has won two Emmy awards and two Golden Globe trophies in his role on the sitcom Cheers in the 80s. And lastly, his acting prowess was rewarded three Emmy nominations for his role in drama series Damages.
